Where We Stand Right Now
As of today, Shine By SD Cosmetics has not been impacted by any tariff changes. We currently qualify for tariff exemption under CUSMA (the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement), and everything we're seeing right now suggests that exemption will continue.
Our Guarantee
Any order placed before August 19th, including Coveted boxes, is guaranteed to be tariff-free. This isn't a "hopefully" or a "we'll try" — it's a firm commitment.
If you're feeling nervous about the tariff situation, we'd recommend placing your order now to avoid any changes if they do occur.
How Tariffs Actually Work (So You're Never Surprised)
We want to demystify this a bit, because it's easy to assume the worst.
As of right now, if a tariff ever applies to us, it's handled before the shipping process — the fee is paid before your shipping label is even printed, not after.
Looking Ahead
We don't currently see any changes coming to our CUSMA exemption status. That said, trade policy can shift, and if anything changes for us, we'll let you know right away through our Website Updates section. No surprises, no silence.
