Every product is handmade, customized, bottled, and labeled right here in Nova Scotia, Canada. We only use FDA-approved cosmetic-grade ingredients sourced from trusted companies in the United States and United Kingdom.
Yes! All of our products are 100% cruelty-free. They are tested on ourselves — never on animals.
Yes, all of our products are 100% vegan!
Yes! Our products are made with skin-loving ingredients and are formulated with sensitive skin and eyes in mind, including contact lens wearers. As always, we recommend keeping all cosmetics out of direct contact with your eyes.
Store your products upright in a cool, dry location away from humidity. This helps preserve the color, texture, and longevity of your pressed eyeshadows.
Yes! We restock sold-out shades often. To be the first to know when your favourite shade is back, turn on restock notifications directly on the product page — just enter your email on any sold-out item and we'll notify you as soon as it's available.
Due to the cost of ingredients, price increases may occur depending on new products or shades launched. Price increases may happen without notice.

We are not currently accepting PR requests. When selecting collaborators, we look for individuals who are active on their social accounts and on our page — people who are passionate about beauty and who would be willing to work with us and genuinely review our products. Orders are processed within 3–10 business days before shipping. We appreciate your patience as everything is handmade with care!
Yes, we ship worldwide! All shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order, your destination, and the shipping method you choose.
Absolutely! Once your order has shipped, you will receive full tracking information via email so you can follow your package every step of the way.
Because we process and ship orders daily, we are often unable to make changes once an order is placed. All orders are considered final. If you have an urgent concern, please email us at info@shinebysdcosmetics.com as soon as possible and we will do our best to help.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Shop Pay, Sezzle, and Afterpay. Sezzle and Afterpay are available to all customers, so you can split your purchase into easy installments.
All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for any reason. By placing an order, you agree to our return policy, terms, and conditions.
We do our best to securely package every order, but shipping carriers can sometimes be rough with packages. We offer Package Protection which can be added to your order at checkout — if your package arrives damaged, you'll receive a replacement or store credit. If any items arrive damaged, please email us at info@shinebysdcosmetics.com with photos and your order details.
If your package is lost in transit, please email us and we will help resolve the issue. Please note that once a package leaves our hands, we only have access to the same tracking information you do. For the most up-to-date updates, we recommend contacting the shipping carrier directly with your tracking number.
We use various shipping carriers, and delays can occasionally happen. If your tracking shows a delay, we recommend reaching out directly to the shipping carrier with your tracking number, as they will have the most current information. We only see the same updates provided by the online tracking system. If you need additional help, feel free to email us.
The Coveted — Members-Only Subscription Box
The Coveted is a members-only monthly subscription box from Shine by SD Cosmetics. Every month, members receive an exclusive eyeshadow drop — a mini palette or curated collection of multichrome, duochrome, and shimmer pressed eyeshadows that will never be sold anywhere else. Not on this website. Not in any collection. Not in any public drop. Only in your box.
The founding member rate of $39.99 CAD/month was exclusively available to June members for Box 01 — our very first official box. This special rate is no longer available. The regular subscription price is $49.99 CAD/month.
For June founding members, your first charge processes on June 20th. From July onwards, all subscribers are charged on the 15th of each month.
Boxes ship by the 28th of the same month as your charge. You will receive a tracking number via email on ship day. Box 01 ships by June 28th.
Each month has a 5-day sign-up window from the 10th to the 14th. New subscribers must sign up within this window to receive that month's box. If you miss the window, you'll be queued for the following month. New subscription spots open on the 10th of each month.
Each month's box contains one exclusive eyeshadow drop — either a mini palette or a curated collection of pressed eyeshadows including shimmers, duochromes, and/or multichromes, handmade in-house. Every month has a different theme, colour story, and exclusive drop.
Never. The Coveted exclusive drops are created for subscribers only and will never be sold on the website or in any public drop. Once the box ships, those shades are gone.
On the 10th of each month, the exclusive drop is revealed publicly — theme and colour story. Founding members for June will get their first reveal on June 16th. Full shade reveals happen leading up to the ship date.

All boxes ship by the 28th of the month. Tracking is sent via email on ship day.
Yes! You can pause your subscription at any time with no penalty. Your billing and shipments pause until you choose to resume. Pausing is always better than cancelling if you need a break.
We require 30 days' written notice before your next billing date to cancel. Please email us at info@shinebysdcosmetics.com with your cancellation request. If your notice arrives after the cutoff, one final box will be charged and shipped.
