U.S. Tariff Update: What It Means for Your Order (Final Hours for No Tariffs + Free U.S. Shipping)

We want to keep our U.S. customers fully in the loop about recent import changes and how they affect your orders from Shine By SD.
What changed?
As of today, August 29, U.S. import tariffs have changed. We are now required to pay these fees before we can print a shipping label.
How we’re taking care of current orders
- All preorders and any order placed up until today will ship tariff-free — we’re covering those costs.
- Today is the last day to shop with no tariffs and free U.S. shipping on orders over our threshold.
What happens after August 29
Starting August 30, U.S. orders will be invoiced for tariffs at the time of shipping, until Shopify updates checkout to allow us to collect them automatically.
Why fulfillment is taking longer right now
Please allow us extra time while we process pending orders. Due to the new rules, we must now manually enter your shipping address and order value, pay the tariff fees, and update customs forms for each package. This is significantly slower than a simple label print. We’re working nonstop to get your orders out — thank you for your patience. 💙
