Where Are Shine By SD Products Manufactured?

Every product is handmade, customized, bottled, and labeled right here in Nova Scotia, Canada. All of our formulas are created in-house using FDA-approved cosmetic grade ingredients — vegan, cruelty-free, and crafted with care.

Are Your Products Vegan and Cruelty-Free?

Yes! Every Shine By SD product is 100% vegan and cruelty-free, handmade in Nova Scotia, Canada. We never test on animals and are committed to clean, conscious beauty.

Why Might My Shade Look Different Than the Photos?

Our multichromes and duochromes are uniquely shifty — they can look dramatically different depending on lighting, angle, skin tone, and application method. We photograph in both natural and studio lighting with minimal editing so you see the most accurate representation possible.

For the most vibrant payoff, we recommend applying over a glitter primer or tacky base using a dense brush or fingertip. A little goes a long way with our high-pigment formula.

Are Your Eyeshadow Pans Magnetic?

Yes! All of our eyeshadow singles come in custom 26mm rose gold magnetic pans, compatible with all standard magnetic palettes. Mix, match, and build your perfect lineup.

Our complete ingredients list is available in the footer of our website for easy reference. If you have a specific allergy concern, feel free to reach out before placing your order and we'll be happy to help.

Do You Accept Bulk or Wholesale Orders?

Yes! For bulk orders, please reach out to us directly and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Orders & Shipping

How Long Is Processing Time?

Our standard processing time is 3–10 business days. During high-volume periods or sales, this may extend up to 15 business days — we appreciate your patience as every order is prepared with care.

Heads up for Express orders: If you select 1–2 Day Express Shipping at checkout, please note that transit time begins once your package is scanned by the carrier, not from the date of purchase.

How Long Does Shipping Take?

Once your order ships, estimated delivery times are as follows:

  • Canada: 2–3 business days
  • United States: approximately 7 business days
  • International: 10–15 business days

Please note that while customs delays are not common, they can occasionally occur and are outside of our control.

Which Carriers Do You Ship With?

We ship primarily with Canada Post, which converts to your local postal service once it arrives in your country. We also ship with Chit Chats, and occasionally UPS for express orders.

Do You Ship Worldwide?

Yes, we ship worldwide! Duties and import taxes are not collected at checkout — we do our best to minimize import fees where possible. Please note that customs delays can occasionally occur and are outside of our control.

Are Your Products Tariff-Free for US Customers?

Yes! Our products are tariff exempt for US destinations. No additional tariff fees apply to your order.

Can I Make Changes to My Order After It's Placed?

Because we process orders continuously, we're unable to guarantee changes once an order has been submitted. If you need to make an adjustment, please reach out to us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate — though we cannot guarantee changes will be made in time.

My Package Shows as Delivered But I Haven't Received It.

If your tracking shows delivered but you haven't received your package, this will need to be investigated directly with the shipping carrier. Please contact them with your tracking number and they'll be able to locate your package. If you need assistance finding the right carrier contact, feel free to reach out and we'll point you in the right direction.

What If My Package Is Lost or Damaged in Transit?

Lost: If your tracking hasn't updated in an unusual amount of time, please reach out to us and we'll help file a claim with the carrier.

Damaged: If your order arrives damaged, please contact us right away with photos and we'll make it right. Depending on the situation, we'll send a replacement, issue a gift card, or process a refund.

Returns & Refunds

What Is Your Return Policy?

Due to the nature of cosmetic products, we are generally unable to accept returns for hygiene reasons. If you believe there is an issue with your order, please reach out to us within 5 days of receiving it and we'll review your situation.

Any approved returns must be completely unopened and untouched. A restocking fee will apply to all approved returns.

Do You Accept Exchanges?

We do not offer exchanges at this time. We encourage you to review all product photos, descriptions, and our ingredients list before placing your order to ensure you're confident in your selection.

What About Refunds?

Refunds are processed for eligible items only. Please note that shipping fees and any duties or taxes paid are non-refundable. If you have a concern about your order, don't hesitate to reach out — we're always happy to help find a resolution.

Policies & Extras

Before You Checkout — A Few Helpful Reminders

  • Address: Please double-check your shipping address before submitting your order. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, a new shipping label will need to be purchased before we can resend.
  • Discount Codes: Please ensure any applicable discount codes are applied at checkout. We're unable to retroactively apply codes to completed orders.
  • Order Cancellations: Once an order is in process, we're unable to cancel it. Please review your cart carefully before completing your purchase.

I Placed an Order Before a Sale — Can I Get a Price Adjustment?

Our sales are run as surprise pop-up events for a limited time only. Unfortunately we're unable to offer price adjustments for orders placed prior to a sale beginning. Sales are valid for new orders only.

Do You Have a Rewards Program?

Yes! We have a loyalty and rewards program where you can earn points for purchases, leaving reviews, and more. Visit our Rewards page to sign up and start earning.

Do You Offer Gift Cards?

Yes! Paid gift cards never expire. Promotional or complimentary gift cards may carry an expiration date and cannot be reissued once expired.
